The Sunshine Coast Carving Symposium is a 5-day outdoor celebration of creativity, community, and culture. Each year, talented sculptors will gather to create large-scale wood carvings live on site, transforming logs into breathtaking works of art, sharing their vision with the community. In addition to live carving, participating artists will offer workshops, demonstrations and talks throughout the week, giving visitors a unique opportunity to learn, engage, and be inspired by the creative process.

This unique event highlights the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Sunshine Coast, while offering visitors the chance to connect with artists and witness the creative process up close.

This inaugural event is free and open to the public. Families, art enthusiasts, and curious visitors are all encouraged to stop by, watch the carvings come to life, and celebrate the beauty of art in nature.
